Snow in the UK, let me film a sequence!
Across the UK in late February / early March, the whole of United Kingdom experienced heavy snow. I decided to go outside and shoot a short sequence using only my Samsung Galaxy S7, a Neewer smartphone rig and a small Joby Tripod.
I spent around half hour collecting footage around a small closed mining facility in South Yorkshire. I was impressed with the 4K footage that came from the S7.
I was able to edit the footage and crop al the 4K footage into a 1080p timeline. This improves the quality of the shot. It's unfortunate that I was only able to capture all the slow-motion snow at 720p in 120fps.
This one of small limitations of using an older device compared to the new generation of phones can capture 240fp at 1080p.
Overall I happy with final result. Take a look at the sequence I created and let me know what you think of it.
