This was one toughest projects I've worked on, to date. The goal was to create the character, adding materials and for the first time rig and animate the 3D model.
The process was not easy due to an issue with the distribution of the automatic weights on Blender which assigned inaccurate weights to other parts of the 3D models.
I posted a video showing the video and how I was able to fix this issue.
This required me to paint select each bone, flip the normals of the 3D model and remove the weights. I had to read blogs and test different ways to fix the problems I was encountering and due to a lack of information online about the issue, most of the problem solving was done myself.
I've been working on the overall video over the last few weeks and I am really pleased with the final result.
